PTD - Challenge 53

This weeks challenge at PTD is fathers day! I created this for my dad:

As an avid fisherman I'm sure he'll love it!

As a present I've got him an iTunes giftcard, 2 handmade bookmarks and I'm going to make him some of my famous fudge as I'm a little short on cash at the moment.

PTD - Challenge 51

At Pear Tree Designs this week the challenge is to create a card with sparkle! I designed this:

I could have gone all out with the glitter but I was pushed for time so stuck to gems instead which lets face it aren't as much fun!

PTD - Challenge 50

At Pear Tree Designs the challenge is a sketch so yo just have to design a card using the sketch below:

I designed this:

I wanted to use soft colours as I normally use brights and I think the greens and lilacs work really well.

The prize is six digi images from Cardmadfairy's Card Creations and all entries to be submitted by Sunday 4pm!

This weeks challenge at Pear Tree Designs is spring! So simply create a card or project related to spring. I tried to use bright colours but think it could have done with something more to take the harshness of the white away on the card the digi image was printed onto.

PTD - Challenge 47

This weeks challenge at Pear Tree Designs is a free for all. This means you can create what ever you want. The prize up for grabs is a goody bag supplied by Donna. My creation is this:

This was made for my friend who I was a bridesmaid for a week ago. I'd already written in it so have tried to blank out the writing on the photo below.

I love it as it's a simple design, yet I think it looks really classy and sophisticated and it matches her wedding colour scheme!

This weeks challenge at Pear Tree Designs is to create a mothers day card! This was a real last minute jobby but here is what I created:

I used a free digi download from Jak Heath which is available here, a mulberry flower, Kanban gems and a little glitter glue.

This weeks challenge at Pear Tree Designs really was a challenge and a half! It's to create a St Patrick's Day card and I created this:

I have to admit it is a shoddy attempt but I found this challenge so hard! All images are clipart from the internet and it is a little notelet style card.

This weeks challenge at Pear Tree Designs is to produce a card using one colour. You can use different shades but it must be the same colour! And I chose to use blue and here is my card:

The fairy is coloured a very light blue but it does look white on the photos.

So this is another new post idea that I've had. I wrote a post, last week I think, about me becoming a design team member for Pear Tree Designs so I thought every month I would do a quick blog post on here with my cards that I've submitted each week.

Eeek I'm excited!

Some of my older followers will know that in my spare time I also enjoy crafting, mainly card making, and through starting this blog I began following crafting blogs where you have to submit a card each week relating to a specific challenge. So by not wanting to fill this blog with crafting posts I started my sister blog, bk crafting, with my mum and after not very long taking part in these challenges I was thrilled to be asked to be a guest design team member for a month at Pear Tree Designs!

So for the past month I've been submitting a card a week as a member of the DT but I was then asked if I would like to permanently become a full time member of the DT!! And of course I jumped at the chance so I now design for Pear Tree Designs!

When I started blogging which I began properly at the beginning of this year I never dreamt that I would end up having 2 blogs, a mountain of followers and a position in a design team! Hopefully there is much more still to come!
