Review: Vichy Normaderm

I managed to get hold of 2 Vichy Normaderm samples, 1 of Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care face cream and 1 of the cleansing gel wash. These are for combination/oily skin, my skin is combination.

I'm going to review the one which I was most impressed with which was the face cream.

I have only used this for 2 days, mainly because the sample size is a tiny 3ml, but straight away I was seriously impressed with it.

It was a light texture and sank into my skin immediately and left it matte, silky and very very soft. The only bad thing is that it smells like a mens aftershave which my boyfriend wears! But luckily I like this smell so it's not off putting at all, even though it is a slightly weird fragrance for a face cream!

I would buy this in a full size and I think I'll do that when my current face cream runs out.

Cleansers

I'm back to some beauty stuff rather than crafts, I'm going to sort out a new blog for those when I get round to it.

My Boots store have introduced a few new brands into their skincare selection including Vichy. I don't really know a lot about this brand as it looks expensive so have never really bothered to look at it!

Vichy do a cleansing gel for oily/combination skin but Boots have brought out a new range called Aqua Balance and they also do a cleansing gel. They are the same size, 200ml, are the same green colour (the Boots product in the photo is the cleanser for dry skin as I couldn't get a photo of the right one) and the same price at......£10.

So the question is, which one should I try? Similar ingredients, same price, same size, similar funky green colour. Hmmmm, I'm none the wiser!

Have you tried either of these? Which would you suggest?
