Nip & Fab Cherry Tarte Body Butter

I picked this up in Savers for a bargain price of £2.99. Did I need another body butter/lotion? Nope, but I couldn't resist this for such a bargain price, my mum even picked up the pistachio one too! I'm a bad influence!

The butter is lovely and thick and creamy and leaves your skin feeling silky soft. I personally prefer to use a butter in the winter months as it's much more moisturising and abit stickier than a lotion but as the scent was gorgeous fruity cherries I has to start using this straight away!

The scent is a cross between a cherry bakewell and juicy cherries, amazing!

This is priced at £7.95 from Boots but as I previously mentioned I picked this up for £2.99 in Savers so head down there fast as you won't be disappointed with this product.

Witch Doctor Witch Hazel Gel

I originally bought this as I was having the worst outbreak of spots on my face ever. Even when I was a teenager I didn't have spots like I have had recently and when I nipped into Savers I found this for £1.99.

As it's antiseptic it's perfect to put on any open cuts of wounds to prevent infection and to aid healing. As the spots on my face were really quite big and red and angry looking I really hoped this would calm them down and prevent any scarring that might occur.

Generally my spots have disappeared but two are really stubborn. They have gone down but there are two red marks where they were. I am still applying the Witch gel to help them go for good but overall I'm impressed.

I also took this with me when I went on holiday and used it on my sunburn. It helped to cool it down and unlike some aftersun products didn't leave my skin sticky or greasy looking. I also used this on my foot when it swelled up with fluid retention and was covered in heat rash. I'm not sure if it did anything to help reduce these but it did cool it down.

As this product has a number of uses it's so handy to have as a 'just in case' product and for £1.99 you can afford to be a little slap happy with it as it doesn't cost the earth. As I previously mentioned I got my tube from Savers.

Haul - Boots and Savers

Ok, ok, I know that I said I wasn't going to buy anymore toiletries until I'd used up my stash but these ones are ok as the majority of them were free!

Boots

These were free because I got them with my points! All Organic Surge products at Boots are currently on 2 for £8 and considering most of them are over £8 now the VAT increase has been effected this is a real bargain. These were £8.16 each so I saved £8.32!

And last week I had to return something but I didn't have my receipt so had to have an exchange. I got Vaseline aloe vera gel and cocoa butter gel which were 2 for £5 (or £4.89 each). I like the idea that they are a gel so they will be lighter to apply in the summer when lotions and butters are sometimes too rich.

I also got Naked rose body wash (£3.99) and Naked starflower body wash (£4.07), Tresemme naturals mini shampoo and conditioner (£1.32 each) and a Bourjois little round pot eyeshadow in shade 13 (£5.99).

Savers

Fee at Makeup Savvy tweeted about finding these Naked products in Savers so the next day when I was in town I popped in to check them out. They were £1 each instead of around £3.99 and I got a bottle of white ginger body wash, a tube of cocoa butter body cream and a tube of rice shower scrub.

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
